Dakota Fanning Premieres “The Secret Life of Bees”
She’s pretty much grown up in front of the camera, and last night Dakota Fanning was all smiles as she premiered her latest movie “The Secret Life of Bees.”
The “I am Sam” cutie looked fabulous in a strapless black dress and massive heels as she made her way inside the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, California.
In the movie, Dakota plays Lily Owens, a 14-year-old girl who is haunted by the memory of her late mother. To escape her lonely life and troubled relationship with her father, she flees with her caregiver Rosaleen to a rural South Carolina town, where she meets the Boatwright sisters and discovers the mesmerizing world of beekeeping, honey, and the Black Madonna.
And though a few lucky moviegoers got to see “The Secret Life of Bees” at last night’s shindig, the rest of us will have to wait until next Friday, October 17th for our chance.
