2012 Critics' Choice Television Awards: The Show, The Winners

For the second year in a row, the small-screen’s biggest stars hit the red carpet for the Critics' Choice Television Awards in Beverly Hills, CA on Monday night (June 18).

Gathering together at at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, the adorable Zooey Deschanel was radiant in red as she mingled with "Modern Family" cast members Eric Stonestreet and Ty Burrell - with the hit ABC comedy also represented by Sarah Hyland, Julie Bowen and Ariel Winter.

With lovely ladies such as Christina Hendricks, Olivia Munn, Emmy Rossum and Hayden Panettiere also on-hand, the big winners of the evening included Bryan Cranston as Best Actor and Claire Danes as Best Actress in a Drama Series while "Homeland" took home Best Drama Series honors. As for the Comedy Series categories, Louis C.K won Best Actor while Miss Deschanel and Amy Poehler tied for Best Actress with "Community" being hailed as Best Comedy Series.

Fellow Critics' Choice winner Julianne Moore garnered Best Actress in a Movie/Miniseries for her role as Sarah Palin in "Game Change", of which she said, “You can’t give any kind of performance without a [great] story, so I’d like to thank the Republican party for fostering a truly amazing political story.”

Meanwhile, Lucy Liu was chosen as Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series for her turn on "Southland", of which she surpisedly told the audience, “I didn’t expect this at all. It’s just been such a thrill to be working with such a wonderful cast and fantastic crew.“

Other celebrities in attendance included the beautiful Busy Phillips and esteemed filmmaker Judd Apatow, as well as Ginnifer Goodwin, Cheryl Hines, Alison Brie, Carson Daly, Cloris Leachman, Kevin Costner, Chris Colfer, Natalie Zea, Beth Behrs, Aisha Tyler, Carrie Preston, Ashley Richards and Justin Long.
