After the tragic loss, Corey Haim’s close friend wasn’t surprised by his death and admits that Corey begged him for drugs shortly before his passing on March 10th.

A friend of the Lost Boys star said, “Corey was in a bad way and he was begging me to give him pain medication shortly before his death. But although I’ve read stories about a gang giving him prescription drugs he never spoke about that.I know he was taking a lot of Valium, he was very upset about his mom’s cancer as he was really close to her, and I guess it was his way of dealing with the stress.”

As the shock of his death begins to settle in, more and more details continue emerge involving Cory Haim’s passing, and now reports claim there just may be a surrounding crime.

According to the California Attorney General's Office, Investigators have now found that an "unauthorized" prescription in his name was linked to an "illegal and massive prescription-drug ring."

He passed away suddenly early Wednesday morning (March 10) and Corey Haim will be laid to rest in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.

According to Haim’s manager Marc Heaslip, there will be a memorial service in Los Angeles prior to the funeral in Toronto, and the family will accept donations to help pay for the funeral services.
