Claire Danes Steps Out in NYC After "Homeland" Announces Fourth Season Location
Kicking off another day in the Big Apple, Claire Danes stepped out in the Soho neighborhood of New York City on Friday (April 4).
The 34-year-old actress donned a brown jacket with skinny jacket and black-and-white flats as she hopped into the yellow car and sped off to a meeting.
In career news, SHOWTIME and Fox 21 announced Claire's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning drama "Homeland" will begin production for the fourth season in Cape Town, South Africa.
Showrunner and executive producer Alex Gansa stated, "We've been so lucky to work with one of the best crews in the business for the last three seasons in Charlotte [North Carolina]. We knew going into season four that we would need to move the production overseas to tell the story of Carrie returning to the Middle East as chief of station."
He added, "We are thrilled to have a new home in Cape Town and look forward to getting season four production off the ground."
The production crew plans to arrive in South Africa in mid-June and shoot through November. In addition to North Carolina, "Homeland" has filmed in Israel, Puerto Rico and Morocco over the past three seasons.
