They’ve been working hard on Cameron Crowe’s next movie in Hawaii, and last night (December 8) Emma Stone and Bill Murray paid a visit to the troops stationed in the Island State.

The “Amazing Spider-Man” babe and the “Groundhog Day” great headed over to the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam’s annual tower lighting celebration to say thank you and make the holidays a little brighter.

Emma began, “We are so honored to be here tonight to light up the tree. And the 15th Wing and the Pacific Air Forces have been so great to us while we’ve been shooting on Hickam Field so thank you for your flexibility and teamwork and support because we’re having the best time.”

“We’ve had a wonderful welcome here in Hawaii and the people have been so gracious. I’m very happy for you, that if you have to be posted somewhere that’s not your hometown, that you’ve ended up in Hawaii,” added Murray.
