Christina Aguilera Gets Back to Work on "The Voice"
Staying busy with her hit NBC show, Christina Aguilera made her way into “The Voice” studio in Burbank, CA on Friday (July 27).
The 31-year-old songstress donned a sexy ensemble in a black jacket while letting her platinum blonde locks hang loose as she she headed in to hit the set.
In related news, a new star will join the ranks as a mentor of the hit singing show and the "Beautiful" singer is thrilled with the addition.
On Thursday, NBC announced that Green Day vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong will be joining the already impressive talent on the competition. Yesterday Xtina took to her Twitter page writing, “So excited to have such a talented mentor on #TeamXtina. @BJAofficial has so much to offer team & has kept me laughing all day. #TheVoice.”
In a statement, Armstrong also expressed his joy to be a part of the show and explained, “The Voice” has won the hearts of viewers because "it's not molding artists, it's just giving them a little bit of guidance and direction without giving them a complete makeover."
“The Voice” returns to NBC on September 10 at 8/7c.
