Christina Aguilera Chats with Jimmy Fallon; Performs at Sandy Telethon
Making a big showing in Sandy-stricken New York City, Christina Aguilera stopped by "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" before heading to the "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together” telethon on Friday (November 2).
At the show, the "Voice" judge rocked a white t-shirt, shiny hot pink blazer, white and gray patterned pants, and rhinestone covered heels while she laughed it up with the affable host.
Later in the evening, she kicked off the charity telethon with an emotional rendition of her hit, "Beautiful."
Prior to the music, the 31-year-old star spoke from the heart, saying, "I was born in Staten Island. Four days ago, hurricane Sandy came through and devastated it as it did most of the eastern seaboard. We've come together tonight to tell every single person who's suffering that we are here for you. We will do whatever we can to help. We will not leave anyone behind because every single one of you matters."
After the event, she tweeted, "Was an honor to perform tonight on #SandyHelp telethon. Please help via @RedCross." Watch Christina's full performance below.
