Chris Brown Defends Singing at Boxing Gig
Going on the defensive, Chris Brown has responded to loads of criticism over his decision to sing the national anthem at the Floyd Mayweather/Shane Mosely fight in Las Vegas on Saturday night (May 1).
The "Kiss Kiss" singer was slammed after taking the high-profile job, based on the fact that he was promoting the violent sport while on probation for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
He took to Twitter to say:
Brown took to his Twitter to tell, "thx for all the support from my fans… Im human. how many of u r perfect????????"
The soon-to-be 21-year-old singer continued, "if there is no forgiveness, there is no change… im humbled by everything… if i wasnt somewhat sane and loved my fans and music so d*mn much i would give up.. but thats not why i was put on this earth… youll see!"
