Chloe Moretz's Bloodied Up "Carrie" Debut: First Look!
She hasn’t wasted any time in taking on challenging roles, and Chloe Moretz’s latest gig is the lead in the remake of Stephen King’s “Carrie," set to release in March 2013.
The “Hugo” cutie is featured in a newly-released still image from the flick via EW, in which she’s freaking out and covered in blood.
Miss Moretz told press, “We only have like four chances to get it right. Because that stuff stains your hair,” regarding the infamous prom scene.
Chloe’s co-star Julianne Moore, who plays her fundamentalist religious mother, added of her own character, “This woman has clearly had a psychotic break, perhaps several. But what’s sad about it for me is that she’s clearly sick and here’s this poor child in the thrall of this person who is seriously ill. And on top of that, they have this mother-daughter relationship. So we want to make that relationship as meaningful as possible, even though it is horrible and destructive.”
