Pulling out a shaded pair of glasses to read the teleprompter, Charlie Sheen stepped out on the Gibson Amphitheater stage to fittingly recognize the wildest party movie of the year at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, California on Sunday (June 3).

In a black suit and striped tie, the "Anger Management" star presented the Instant Cult Classic Movie Award to 'Project X' saying, "Finally a movie that captures what's going on in my head 24 hours a day."

During the awards show, Charlie interrupted a backstage interview when he walked by "That's My Boy" stars Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg and Leighton Meester causing Adam to leave the interview to greet the Tiger-blooded star.

"Charlie!" Sandler shouted while turning his back to the camera adding, "Me and Charlie, baby! Good to see you!"

After shaking hands several times Charlie told Adam, "I gotta go get assigned to my seat, man," asking, "Are you here all night?"

While the duo ignored the interview-in-progress Samberg turned to the camera to get in a little wise crack, "This is as exclusive as it gets, you guys," Samberg laughed, " 'Anger Management' franchise much?"

Samberg recognized the secret connection Sandler and Sheen share as Charlie is set to star in an adaptation of Sandler's 2003 comedy, "Anger Management".

Long after the MTV host lost control of the interview, Sandler turned to continue promoting his latest film, "That's My Boy" but Samberg didn't let him return so smoothly sarcastically yelling, "Oh, welcome back! Welcome Back!"

Sandler quipped, "What do you need from me?" jabbing back at Samberg saying, "That's an old friend! We're old friends, man! You're new friends!"
