Prince William & David Beckham Team Up for United Wildlife Launch
Celebrating a cause that’s close to his heart, Prince William attended the United Wildlife launch in London on Monday (June 9).
The Duke of Cambridge headed over to Google’s headquarters over the pond to team up with David Beckham for the campaign to help stigmatize the buying of ivory and rhino horn.
"Our children should not live in a world without elephants, tigers, lions and rhinos. Enough is enough," Prince William said during the launch. "It is time to choose between critically endangered species and the criminals who kill them for money."
The campaigns slogan is titled "#WhoseSideAreYouOn” and it aims to highlight the slaughter of tens of thousands of animals a year due to the illegal trade.
David chimed in and said, "It really is devastating and we are in a world where our generation and the younger generation really can make a difference and we need to do it now. Are we on the side of the criminals or are we one the side of the animals?"
