It’s a big week for gay youths as the Boy Scouts of America have reversed their ban on homosexual members under the age of 18.

Nation Commissioner Tico Perez told press, "This resolution today dealt with youth. We have not changed our adult membership standards. They have served us well for the last 100 years. Those were not on the table."

As for celebrity reactions to the decision, Jesse Tyler Ferguson tweeted, "'TieTheKnotOrg: BREAKING: Boy Scouts approve proposal to allow gay youth. Ban on leaders still remains.' Good step forward #BoyScouts.”

Marlee Matlin also weighed in- "RT @jessetyler Boy Scouts approve proposal to allow gay youth. Ban on leaders still remains. Good step forward #BoyScouts > I agree!”

And preggers Jenna Dewan-Tatum shared her tepid response- "Well..you almost did something great Boy Scouts...#equality4all #getwiththetimes.”

Meanwhile, Evan Rachel Wood wasn’t impressed- “yea, going halfsies on discrimination, is still discrimination.”
