As developments rush in surrounding Jude Law's phone-hacking scandal, Sienna Miller has justified her "I love you" message left to Daniel Craig.

The proceedings at London's Old Bailey described more details about the British actress's alleged affair with the "James Bond" actor, as she took the stand via satellite from New Orleans on Friday (January 31).

As previously reported, Sienna was dating Jude Law at in 2005, leaving a message on Daniel's phone that said, "Hi, it's me. I can't speak, I'm at the Groucho with Jude. I love you."

In front of the jury, the 32-year-old said, "The thing that's been slightly misconstrued about this voicemail message is that I said 'I love you' and that this was some incredibly important declaration of love. I've always ended my calls to Daniel saying 'I love you.'"

Of Daniel, Sienna said, "Whether or not I was in a relationship with Daniel Craig, it was not a relationship, it was a very brief encounter, and he was my best friend. My saying 'I love you,' whether anything romantic happened briefly or not, there was nothing significant."
