Ever since its disappearance on March 8th, Malaysia Flight 370’s fate has been a mystery and now it is believed the Boeing 777 actually met its demise in the southern region of the Indian Ocean.
According to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, the distressed aircraft was far away from land and would not have been able to fly to safety.
Razak told press, "Using a type of analysis never before used in an investigation of this sort, [British analysts] have been able to shed more light on MH 370's flight path … its last position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean west of Perth[, Australia].”
"It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that according to this new data, flight MH 370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean."
"Malaysian Airlines have already spoken to the families of the passengers and crew to inform them of this development. For them, the past few weeks have been heartbreaking. I know this news must be harder still.”
