Clive Davis Talks Bisexuality in Forthcoming Book
His positive influence on the music industry is undeniable, and Clive Davis has just announced a new memoir titled “The Soundtrack of My Life.”
And in one chapter, the legendary record executive confesses he’s had sexual encounters with both men and women, despite being married twice.
His experience with guys began in ‘the era of Studio 54.’ He explains, “On this night, after imbibing enough alcohol, I was open to responding to his sexual overtures. [It was a] welcome relief.”
Davis, who has been in a relationship with a man for the past seven years, also notes, “Bisexuality is misunderstood; the adage is that you’re either straight or gay or lying, but that’s not my experience. To call me anything other than bisexual would be inaccurate.”
