Harper Lee Has Died at 89

She was one of the most beloved and influential authors of our time, and sadly 89-year-old Harper Lee has passed away.

The Alabama-born scribe wrote “To Kill a Mockingbird,” which won the 1961 Pulitzer Prize, and more than five decades later she published her second novel “Go Set A Watchman,” selling over a million copies in the first week of release.

Reality TV star Angela "Big Ang" Raiola has died aged 55 after a battle against cancer.

Angela Raiola became a household name thanks to her role in "Mob Wives." On Thursday (February 18), Big Ang, as she was known on the program, lost her battle against stage four cancer.


“Bachelor” Alum Lex McAllister Dead at 31

She was one of the lovely ladies that competed for the affections of Jake Pavelka on Season 14 of “The Bachelor,” and sadly Lex McCallister passed away on Tuesday (February 16).

According to multiple reports, the Columbus, Ohio police were called on Saturday (February 13) after Ms. McAllister told a friend that she wanted to “end her life,” and when the caller checked on Lex she appeared to have taken an excessive amount of prescription pills.


Playboy Model Katie May Passes Away at 34

She was on a fast track to modeling fame, but sadly Katie May has died following what her family has called a “catastrophic” stroke.

The 34-year-old Playboy poser suffered the blockage to her carotid artery on Monday (February 1) and was hospitalized and listed in critical condition.


Earth, Wind & Fire Member Maurice White: Dead at 74

Adding to the already-mounting musician death toll, Maurice White succumbed to Parkinson’s Disease on Wednesday (February 3) after a decades-long battle.

The Earth, Wind and Fire founder, who wrote hits like “September,” “Boogie Wonderland” and “Shining Star,” won seven Grammy Awards during his illustrious career and was inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.


Dave Mirra Found Dead of Suspected Suicide

Following a successful career in the BMX realm, Dave Mirra was found dead on Thursday (February 4) in North Carolina and officials are calling it a suicide.

The X Games champion, who earned a whopping 24 medals over the years, leaves behind a wife and two daughters after a self-inflicted gunshot wound ended his life.


Vanessa Hudgens Dedicates “Grease: Live” Performance to Late Father

Last night (January 31) Vanessa Hudgens did a marvelous job as Rizzo in FOX’s “Grease: Live” and it turns out her father Greg passed away just 24 hours prior to the broadcast.

The “High School Musical” actress’ dad died of cancer, though rather than pulling out of the gig, Hudgens dedicated her performance to her proud papa’s memory.


Abe Vigoda‬ Passes Away at 94

"The Godfather" star Abe Vigoda‬ has died, aged 94.

The character actor passed away in his sleep at his home in New Jersey on Tuesday morning (January 26), his daughter Carol Vigoda Fuchs tells The Associated Press.
