Phil Everly Dies at 74
After teaming up with his brother for decades of rock n' roll hits, Phil Everly passed away on Friday (January 3).
The younger of the Everly Brothers died from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the age of 74.
In the time between 1957 to 1962, the duo racked up 19 top 40 hits, including "All I Have to Do is Dream," "Wake Up Little Susie," and "Crying in the Rain."
Back in 2011, Phil last performed in public, but his son Jason told the AP that he was still writing songs between living in Burbank and Nashville.
