“Pink Panther’s” Herbert Lom Died at Age 95

Famed “Pink Panther” actor Herbert Lom has died at the age of 95 on Thursday (September 27).

He was best known for his role as Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus in the original series and reportedly died in his sleep overnight.

Lom also appeared in the original “Lady Killers” film and portrayed the pirate captain in Stanley Kubrick’s “Spartacus” more than 50 years ago.

The Czech-born character actor was commonly cast as the villain in a series of British classics and will be greatly missed in the acting community.
