Award-winning director Mike Nichols died Wednesday night (November 20) according to ABC News’ president, James Goldston.

The 83-year-old was one of only 12 EGOT holders, winning four Emmys, one Grammy, one Oscar and nine Tony awards. He is best known for directing “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” and “The Graduate.”

She was a fierce competitor and a beautiful and brilliant woman, and sadly Diem Brown passed away on Friday (November 14) after losing her battle with cancer.

The 32-year-old MTV “Challenge” star had beaten the disease twice before (2006 and 2012) but it seems her third go-round proved to be simply too much for her to overcome.

Details continue to surface regarding the circumstances surrounding Joan Rivers' demise, and the latest reports confirm that her surgeons used an inappropriate amount of propofol to put her under for her upper endoscopy.

Per a GossipCenter source, the 81-year-old was undergoing the procedure when her personal doctor Gwen Korovin also performed a laryngoscopy even though she lacked the credentials to operate at the Yorkville Endoscopy Center.


Melissa Rivers Preparing Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit in Death of Joan Rivers

Following the Medical Examiner’s report that Joan Rivers died of surgical complications, her daughter Melissa Rivers has declared she’s filing a medical malpractice lawsuit.

Rivers has retained New York law firm Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz to handle the investigation and subsequent suits against both the clinic and the individual doctors.
