Carly Rae Jepsen Promotes Broadway's "Cinderella" on “Good Morning America”
Taking a break from her crazy rehearsal schedule, Carly Rae Jepsen showed up at ABC Studios in Times Square for an appearance on “Good Morning America” today (January 20).
The “Call Me Maybe” songstress was in the house to promote her latest gig as the lead role in the Broadway revival of “Cinderella,” and it sounds like things have been going well.
Carly Rae gushed, “I’ve dreamed of being on Broadway since I can remember and ‘Cinderella’ is kind of the dream role. I don’t even think I took it that far in my imagination. I always thought, ‘Maybe one day on Broadway I’ll be Maid #3?’ So this is such an honor. I can’t wait.”
However, her stage duties haven’t afforded Miss Jepsen much time to enjoy Manhattan. “I am only doing this. I am eating, breathing and sleeping ‘Cinderella.’ It’s very gratifying. It’s hard work but it’s worth it.”
