Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Leaves Clinic with Baby Giulia
Gently cradling her little angel in her arms, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy checked out of the Private Clinic La Muette in Paris with newborn daughter Giulia on Sunday (October 23).
The French First Lady was surrounded by staffers who toted her belongings to an awaiting ride - with the mother and daughter loading into the back seat before heading off to the homefront.
Miss Bruni-Sarkozy's clinic departure comes after she gave birth this past Wednesday (October 19) - with Giulia being her first shared child with French President husband Nicolas Sarkozy.
Upon his daughter's arrival, President Sarkozy - who is in Brussels for a summit of European Union leaders - told press that he and his wife felt a "very profound happiness."
Meanwhile, Giulia joins four siblings, as Nicolas has three sons from his two previous marriages while Carla has one son from a previous relationship.
