Shattering box office records and far exceeding expectations, Disney's "Frozen" is set to get the stage treatment as the company confirmed a Broadway musical is being planned.

Hoping to maintain the quality of the original, Disney CEO Bob Iger tells Fortune, "We're not demanding speed. We're demanding excellence."

Still in theaters, the family flick follows optimist Anna who teams up with Kristoff and a snowman named Olaf in a chilly journey to find Anna's sister in order to stop the eternal winter.

In the movie, the characters are voiced by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Santino Fontana, and Alan Tudyk. Casting decisions on the musical have not yet been made.
