Tending to her motherly responsibilities, Britney Spears was spotted taking her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston to “Shrek the Musical” last night (August 27).

The “Gimme More” songstress looked every bit the doting mommy as she arrived at the Broadway production in New York City with the help of an assistant and her bodyguard.

And Britney was looking cool and casual on her night off (she’s been performing at Madison Square Garden this week), sporting a striped top with jeans and tan high-heeled boots.

The next stop on her uber-successful Circus comeback tour is Boston, Massachusetts where she’ll take the stage Saturday night.
