Britney Spears Becomes an Ambassador for VH1's "Save the Music"
Preparing for the release of her eighth studio album, entitled Britney Jean, Britney Spears just became an ambassador for VH1's "Save the Music" program.
"Save the Music" raises money for music education programs in public elementary and middle schools all across the United States.
VH1's official website states, "We are a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America's public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education."
In related news, the 31-year-old's album Britney Jean is scheduled for national release on November 29th, and although very little is known about it, its two singles, "Work Bitch" and "Perfume" have already gained popularity since their release this fall.
