Kate Middleton Plans “Downton Abbey” Visit

Being a princess has its perks, and Kate Middleton has been invited to the set of “Downton Abbey” at Ealing Studios in west London next week.

The Duchess of Cambridge will witness a scene being filmed in the servants’ quarters before moving to the ‘video village’ to see it again via monitors with the producers of the hit series.

He’s long been a supporter of animal conservation efforts and Prince William paid a visit to the Xishuangbanna Elephant Sanctuary as part of his tour of China on Wednesday (March 4).

During his time at the facility, the Duke of Cambridge got to meet a rescued elephant named Ran Ran before addressing the press.

While mingling with various government officials, William admired the David Bailey portrait of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II and got a look at George the Penguin Cam used in the BBC hit TV series “Spy in the Huddle.”

Following in his mother’s footsteps, Prince William honored fallen troops in Japan just as the late Princess Diana did 20 years ago this month.

On the second day of his four-day trip to the country, the 32-year-old royal visited the Yokohama War Cemetery, where more than 1,500 Commonwealth servicemen who died in Japan as prisoners of war or as part of the occupation afterward are buried.

It looks like Prince Harry isn’t laying low after being shot down by Emma Watson (sigh). The royal made his way to the northern most point of England for two very different, but very important engagements.

The 30-year-old prince paid a visit to the Northumberland Wildlife Trust to learn about their Red Squirrels Northern England project, which works to conserve the endangered species’ population and oversee grey squirrel control.
