Coldplay Opens Up the 2012 BRIT Awards
Getting the audience pumped for the 2012 Brit Awards, Coldplay performed as the show’s opening act at the O2 Arena in London, England on Tuesday (February 21).
The British rockers took the stage as the crowd cheered out in excitement, with the quartet of Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion performing their hit song “Charlie Brown,” the third single from their fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto.
Never ones to disappoint, their performance was complete with a large amount of pyrotechnics which caused the audience to ooh and ahh at the impressive fiery display.
In addition, the boys were early winners as they took home Best British Group honors - which makes for their sixth ever BRIT trophy.
