Bobby Brown Plays Tribute to Whitney in “Tonight Show” Performance
He became world famous as part of New Edition, and last night (May 16) Bobby Brownwas once again flying solo on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
The “My Prerogative” singer gave a high-energy performance of his brand new single “Don’t Let Me Die,” a tribute to his late ex-wife Whitney Houston.
And from the lyrics, it was obvious that Brown is having a hard time dealing with the “I Will Always Love You” songstress’ death.
Bobby sang, “I don’t know how to live without you / I need you here... I guess I messed up pretty bad / I didn’t know who you were / I didn’t know what we had…. Now I’m stuck living in the past, trying to get the pieces back / But I guess now you’re gone.”
