He’s always up to something fun, and Christoph Waltz attended the premiere of “The Grand Budapest Hotel” as part of the 2014 Berlin International Film Festival on Thursday night (February 6).

The “Django Unchained” star looked handsome in a classic black tuxedo as he made small talk on the red carpet outside the Berlinale Palast ahead of the much-anticipated screening.

Earlier in the day, Christoph showed up at the International Jury Photocall at the Grand Hyatt as he’s serving on this year’s panel.

Meanwhile, “The Grand Budapest Hotel” is one of the favorites to win the Golden Bear trophy. Per the synopsis, “The film recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. The story involves the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune -- all against the back-drop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.”
