He's known for his work in the film "Star Trek: Into Darkness" and the hit series "Sherlock," but now Benedict Cumberbatch reveals his dream roles in T magazine's latest issue.

While suited up in designer duds from Polo Ralph Lauren for the Kaim Sadli-shot spread, the 37-year-old actor chatted about everything from the characters he's interested in portraying to dodging his obsessive fans.

Check out a few highlights from Mr. Cumberbatch's Q&A session below. For more, be sure to pay a visit to T!

On his famous roles:
"I always seem to be cast as slightly wan, ethereal, troubled intellectual or physically ambivalent bad lovers. I am so ready to play a really dumb character."

On his crazy admirers:
"[After my first Time cover] It's one of the most bizarre levels of success. Someone sent me a photograph of it and I thought, 'Some fan has got hold of a photo and done one of those neat apps where they impose your head on someone.' If you pick a point far behind them they perceive you as not seeing them, and you're the obstacle they have to get around. There is a way of just shadowing through. The higher the walls, the more dark the windows, the bigger the sunglasses - the more people are going to look. The greatest disguise is learning how to be invisible in plain sight."

On Sherlock's personality:
"I always make it clear that people who become obsessed with him or the idea of him - he'd destroy you. He is an absolute b*stard."
