Josh Holloway Set to Star as Aquaman in "Batman vs. Superman"?
With the production of "Batman Vs. Superman" set to begin this spring, rumors continue to circulate about the cast of the new action-packed superhero film.
According to ComicBookMovie, former "Lost" star Josh Holloway, who is currently working on the set of ABC's "Intelligence," may star as the DC comic hero Aquaman.
Although the site seems to think that this information is definite, Latino Review states, "Josh Halloway. Batman vs Superman. NOT TRUE. The source on that story never heard the phrase 'scheduling conflict.'"
Meanwhile, Fox is currently in the midst of developing a new series called "Gotham." The show, which was first reported as focusing on the city's police commissioner James Gordan and not featuring Batman, is now changing the plot to focusing on the DC Comic superhero after all.
The network's chairman Kevin Reilly shared, "This show will track Bruce from a child [around 12 years old] until he puts on a cape [in the finale]. We will see how they get to become what they are as Gotham is teetering on the edge.It is an operatic soap with a larger than life quality."
Mr. Reilly also promises familiar villains such as the Riddler, Catwoman and the Penguin will be making an appearance.
