President Obama & Mitt Romney: Alfred E Smith Memorial Dinner Duo
It’s no secret that the current election campaign has been more than a little intense, so it was good to see President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney cutting loose at the Alfred E Smith Memorial Dinner on Thursday night (October 18).
The Commander-in-Chief was all smiles as he mingled with distinguished guests at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, sporting a classic black tuxedo with a white bowtie.
Meanwhile, Mr. Romney also had a marvelous time at the swanky shindig, escorting his lovely wife Ann to the venue.
And during their speeches, both candidates roasted the other a bit, taking advantage of the lighter, more pleasant context of the evening.
