They’re in the final six weeks of the re-election campaign, and President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle made an appearance on “The View” today (September 25).

Prior to his duties at the UN General Assembly this week, the Commander-In-Chief chatted about the important election in November while Michelle tended to laud compliments on her hubby.

Mrs. Obama declared, "He's very loving. He's very giving. He's very open. He's funny. I'm funnier. But we understand that!"

Meanwhile, critics of the President seemed frustrated at his choice to visit “The View” and the “Today” show instead of tending to his foreign relations duties.

One columnist wrote, “The president’s unwillingness to meet with Bibi Netanyahu when he is in New York but instead willing to go on the ‘The View’ in New York – I mean, I think it speaks volumes to the lack of seriousness with which the president is taking the current situation.”
