Bachelorette Jillian Harris: Engaged to Ed Swiderski

The latest season of “The Bachelorette” has been especially emotional, with plenty of drama and heartbreak along the way. And on last night’s season finale, Jillian Harris accepted a marriage proposal from Ed Swiderski.

In a tear-jerking exchange, Ed told Jillian, “You’re everything I could ever ask for in a woman… you make me smile when I look in your eyes.”

Overcome with emotion and joy, Miss Harris replied, “I’ve been waiting to tell you ‘I love you’ for so long!”

At that, Ed pulled out a swanky Neil Lane engagement ring and proclaimed, “I want you to give me a hard time when we’re 80 years old,” before popping the big question. Jillian responded, “Absolutely!”
