Juan Pablo Galavis Clears the Air on "Good Morning America"

Its seems as though "The Bachelor" contestant Juan Pablo Galavis can't help but land himself in hot water this season, so he made a trip to "Good Morning America" on Monday (February 10) to try to clear the air.

The hunky Venezuelan first ruffled feathers last month when he said that a gay Bachelor would be "more pervert" and not set a good example for children.

They met on television with legions of people watching, so it was only fit that Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici would share their big day with a television audience as well.

The couple exchanged vows on Sunday night (January 26) on an ABC special in front of family and friends, and even some "Bachelor" alums such as Trista and Ryan Sutter and Molly and Jason Mesnick.

After drawing criticism for his comments on having a gay "Bachelor" show, Juan Pablo Galavis clarified his views and apologized on Saturday (January 18).

The hunky reality star began, "I want to apologize to all the people I may have offended because of my comments on having a Gay or Bisexual Bachelor. The comment was taken out of context. If you listen to the entire interview, there's nothing but respect for Gay people and their families. I have many gay friends and one of my closest friends who's like a brother has been a constant in my life especially during the past 5 months."

Causing quite the stir in the celebrity world, Juan Pablo Galavis released a statement today (January 18) saying that a gay production of "The Bachelor" would be a bad example for children.

The 32-year-old is the latest bachelor to grace the show, as well as the first Latino to appear on it, and he said that, "I respect [gay people], but honestly I don't think it's a good example for kids to watch that on TV."
