Anne Hathaway Supports Mom At “Ann” Opening Night
Showing her affinity for family, Anne Hathaway showed up at the grand opening of her mother’s new Broadway production “Ann” last night (March 7).
The “Dark Knight Rises” hottie looked gorgeous in a black ensemble as she posed alongside her mom Kate, dad Gerald, and brothers Thomas and Michael outside the Vivian Beaumont Theatre in New York City.
Anne made it clear that she has a fabulous relationship with her mother during her Oscar acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress last month.
Hathaway declared, “I want to thank my mother, who I saw perform this role when I was eight.” She later told press, “We just talked about the character. She told me a lot about her experience playing Fantine, which gave me even more confidence that it was in my blood, in my DNA, it was a family legacy. I think it allowed me to connect on a deeper level to the character, knowing how much it meant to her."
