Anne Hathaway Joins the Fight to #BringBackOurGirls
Lending her star power to the fight, Anne Hathaway attended a rally to Bring Back Our Girls in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 8).
Joined by her husband Adam Shulman, the “Les Miserables” star shared her support by amping up the crowd through a megaphone and waving around signs to help raise awareness about the kidnapping of 300 girls in Nigeria.
The Nigerian school girls were kidnapped last month from the town of Chibok by the radical group Boko Harem. Celebrities joined the cause by sharing their tweets on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #bringbackourgirls.
Everyone from Reese Witherspoon to Angelina Jolie shared their support for the cause. First Lady Michelle Obama also tweeted a photo of herself holding a sign, which read #bringbackourgirls and wrote, "It's time to #BringBackOurGirls."
