Gearing up for her big Shakespeare in the Park performance, Anne Hathaway was spotted rehearsing in New York City’s Central Park yesterday (July 1).

The “Bride Wars” babe looked prim and proper as she sauntered around the stage in a period-authentic ivory dress with a pulled-back hairdo.

In related news, Miss Hathaway was recently invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, an exclusive group of actors, directors, and producers that is allowed only 6000 members at any time.

And it sounds like Anne is in good company, as other new inductees include Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, and Seth Rogen.
