Angus T. Jones’ Boss Reacts to “Filth” Rant
The fallout is still lingering from Angus T. Jones' negative commentary regarding “Two and a Half Men” in a religious video last month. And now CBS honcho Les Moonves has offered his own take on it all.
The President/CEO of the network noted that while nothing is for sure, things may be changing with regard to Jones’ relationship to the show.
Les began, “I don't know what our status is with him. We took this boy who started with us when he was eight years old, and it seemed to be what happens with child stars over the course of time.”
“He's now making $300,000 per week, which is not a bad salary for a 19-year-old kid, and he went on a religious channel and urged people not to watch the show because it was filth. By the way, he's still collecting his $300,000 a week.”
As for whether or not they’ll replace Angus, Moonves teased, “We have other plans. I don't think it's quite been resolved, but after going through what we went through with Charlie Sheen, this is a piece of cake.”
Meanwhile, Jones is still sticking with the gig for now. An insider shared, “Angus expects to report to work after the holiday break in January. He intends to honor his contract through the end of the season.”
