Angelina Jolie Speaks at Bosnian Ministry of Defense
Using her celebrity to help others, Angelina Jolie arrived for a conference about sex violence during the war at the Bosnian Ministry of Defense today (March 28).
Joined by British Foreign Secretary William Hague, the “Changeling” actress looked lovely while fulfilling her UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador role.
Jolie also appears in a new CNN segment to bring awareness to the Syrian refugee plight and the complications experienced by Lebanon.
She explains, “Here in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley, Syrians arrive daily to escape the war. As the war in Syria enters its fourth year, one quarter of Lebanon’s population are refugees from Syria. Most are women and children…More than half of the 2.5 million refugees fleeing Syria are children.”
