Angelina Jolie Collaborates with Stella McCartney on "Maleficent" Clothing Line for Children
McCartney herself said to WWD on Friday (March 22), "I've always been a huge fan of Disney growing up, as was my mother, and I grew up watching all the films like most kids did."
Working close to Disney many times before, McCartney also designed a jewelry line ahead of the release of Tim Burton's “Alice in Wonderland” in 2010, also featuring Disney characters from "Bambi" in her fall 2009 ad campaign.
According to WWD, McCartney’s line features eight styles for kids ages 4 to 14, including everything from princess frocks and shoes for girls to stylish tees and sneakers for boys.
The clothing line complimenting Disney’s re-imagining of the classic fairy tale will range in price from $75 to $185, and 10% of sales made in Stella McCartney stores and on the company's website will go to SOS Children's Villages.
