He’s willing to do pretty much anything to promote his new film “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and last night (May 1) Andrew Garfield displayed his guitar chops on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Sporting his newly-short coif, the “Social Network” star ended up discussing his recent interest in learning to play the guitar.

“I play Cat Stevens songs, very simple Cat Stevens songs. And very simple Neil Young songs,” he explained as Jimmy reached behind him to find a beautiful sunburst Gibson J45 acoustic guitar plugged in and ready to be played.

After agreeing to grant Fallon’s request to hear a little ditty, Andrew offered a disclaimer- “I am no Adele Dazeem… this is the first time I’ve ever sung in public,” before launching into the “Spider-Man” theme song with the Roots house band backing him up!
