He’s been busy doing all kinds of unexpected promotional bits for “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,” and Will Ferrell just released his “Ride Like the Wind” duet with Robin Thicke.

Posing as he character Ron Burgundy, the “Old School” actor interjects little side notes while the “Blurred Lines” crooner handles the actual singing on the Christopher Cross cover.

When Thicke sings “I was born the son of a lawless man,” Burgundy inquires, “You mean Alan Thicke?!” Ron also declares, “Feel that draft up your skirt? It’s me!”

The Burgundy/Thicke version of “Ride Like the Wind” is included on the “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” soundtrack, as is the original Cross recording that featured Michael McDonald on backing vocals.

“Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” hits theaters December 18th!
