Amy Poehler's "They Came Together" Wedding Bliss
Preparing to say "I do", Amy Poehler swept through Carroll Gardens in a wedding gown to shoot a scene for "They Came Together" in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday (July 24).
With her hair in a simple up-do, the "Parks and Recreation" comedienne gave cameras a slight smile as she gracefully walked by, wearing a gorgeous lacy and beaded white dress, held up by a couple assistants.
Per the synopsis, "They Came Together" follows the story of "a small business owner is about to lose her shop to a major corporate development."
The 40-year-old actress has been ping-ponging between the set of her movie and her NBC show "Parks and Recreation" after hitting up a couple national monuments last week to prepare for an episode in the fifth season titled “Ms. Knope Goes to Washington.”
During down time Amy told The Washington Post, “Everybody knew their lines really well,” adding with a bit of humor, “It makes you realize how politicians prepare and how actors don’t.”
