With her new film "American Hustle" slated to hit theaters December 18th, Amy Adams garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the January 2014 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

The "Enchanted" beauty looked absolutely stunning in an elegant red dress for the Norman Jean Roy-shot spread and opened up about her relationship with fiance Darren Le Gallo.

Highlights from Miss Adams' interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Vanity Fair!

On Darren:
"I'm not pregnant. I'm not getting married anytime soon. I know [Darren's] completely capable and lovely and beautiful and offers something I could never hope to offer just in the nature of his being."

On her acting competition:
"I get excited for people when I know I should be competitive. I'd say in an audition, 'I don't think I'm right for this, but you know who you should get?' I used to do that when I was an unemployed actress."

On her stress reliever:
"When things are out of control, I'll sing the 'Golden Helmet' song from 'Man of La Mancha.' I'll just go, 'I can hear the cuckoo singing in the cuckooberry tree...' And everyone in my life knows that means the situation is spiraling."
