Rihanna Opens Up the 2010 AMAs

Kicking off the show with her high-energy act, Rihanna was front and center at the 2010 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (November 21).

Not disappointing, the Barbadian beauty treated the crowd to the second part to "Love the Way You Lie" live for the first time.

Also delving into her hit tune "Only Girl (in the World)," Rihanna said of the extended stage time prior to the show, "They gave me nine minutes to do whatever I want and I can't wait. That's a long time on an awards show, but it's going to be exciting. I can't wait. I can't wait to do it. I really can't."

In addition to being the show's opener, Rihanna was victorious as the Favorite Female Artist as she beat out Alicia Keys and Sade for the trophy.
