5th Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards Announces Nominees!

It’s almost time for the Broadcast Television Journalists Association to honor the biggest and brightest stars and program at the 5th Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

And on Sunday, May 31st A&E will broadcast the whole shindig live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel beginning at 7pm for the Red Carpet Special, followed by the main event at 8pm.

As her first starring role on television, the pop star will appear in the fifth season of the hit FX series, which is slated to return in October. "American Horror Story" star Ben Woolf was rushed to a nearby hospital after being hit by a car in Hollywood last night (Feb. 19)

According to a new report, the actor, who plays Meep on the show, was hit in the head by the side-view mirror of a passing SUV as he was crossing the street. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he remains in intensive care. Because he was jaywalking when the accident occurred, the driver was not cited, TMZ reported.

Things are looking great for Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Freak Show” as Season Four’s premiere had the highest ratings ever for the FX Network.

Nabbing 13 million total viewers, the program topped all other shows for the 20-year history of the channel, leading CEO John Landgraf to declare, “The American Horror Story anthology has had the highest growth trajectory of any show in FX history, not to mention an unprecedented track record of success in awards recognition.”
