America Ferrera: No More “Ugly Betty”
Spending the day in the company of her pooch pal, America Ferrera was spotted on location for “Ugly Betty” in Manhattan on Wednesday (January 27).
As she strolled alongside her dog Buddy, the young actress chatted with fellow staff workers just as it was announced that the show is being pulled by ABC after the current season.
ABC execs released a statement reading: “We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion.”
The announcement adds: “We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.”
