Amanda Bynes Avoids Jail Time From 2012 DUI Case
Recent reports state that the troubled star is doing very well under the care of her parents, and now it appears Amanda Bynes has another reason to celebrate.
According to TMZ, the “She’s the Man” star received a plea bargain in her April 2012 DUI case that sparked her downward spiral.
Amanda’s lawyer Rich Hutton accepted a please of “wet reckless” in a Los Angeles court this morning (February 24), which is still a drinking-related offense but does not have the serious consequences that come with a DUI conviction.
With this deal, Bynes is places under three years probation, must pay various fines and attend a three-month alcohol education course.
