Alyssa Milano Accepts Jay Mohr's Apology
Proving she has true class to go along with her popularity, Alyssa Milano graciously accepted Jay Mohr's apology after her made fun of her weight recently.
During a radio interview this week, the comedian spoke about the gorgeous actress when they attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards gala, saying, "She's very tiny, in height...It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don't really give a s--t'...I read it on her gut."
Catching wind of the comment, Ms. Milano tweeted, "@jaymohr37 So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife."
On Thursday, Mohr apologized, tweeting, "She's stunning. I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have been taken as a joke. #fail." Later, he followed it up with an extended apology on his website.
Showing she has a sense of humor herself, Alyssa wrote back, "@jaymohr37 Thank you. Apology accepted. (She grunts while aggressively yet cautiously prying off her head-to-toe Spanx)."
