Alec Baldwin Exits Planned Panel on Celebrity Journalism
Making good on his vow to walk away from public life, Alec Baldwin just backed out of plans to participate in a panel with Gawker.
An event to discuss celebrity journalism at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism was scheduled for March 31, but sources say the "30 Rock" star cancelled.
When asked if the actor would cancel after his New York Magazine essay where he made his departure from public life announcement, Gawker exec Nick Denton replied, "Yeah, he probably will now."
Though reached for comment, it's a safe bet that Alec will be silent as he wrote in his New York Magazine piece, "This is the last time I'm going to talk about my personal life in an American publication ever again."
